Breakfast At Paul, Jakarta

We had a short trip to Jakarta over the weekend, mostly to attend a wedding. On Sunday morning, we had breakfast at Paul, in Pacific Place.

We had mini croissants, coffee and a cup of yoghurt with berries. Everything was ordinary, but at least we had proper breakfast before a busy day.

Sari Kuring, Jakarta

Yup. I have been very slow and all over the place and time with my posts recently. This one is from our trip to Jakarta, back in May. It was our lunch before later on, heading to airport for Singapore bound flight. We picked Sundanese restaurant nearby our apartment. Traffic in Jakarta is mostly bad and I dislike wasting time on traffic. This place fits well with us wanting to have some local food and minimizing our traveling time.

We  had fried Garoupa (above), grilled squid (below). We also had chicken satay, fried chicken, tamarind soup and steamed fish.

Sopra Dinner, Jakarta

Sopra is an Italian restaurant at Pacific Place, Jakarta. This restaurant would not be a place to pick for a meal for me, but as I was just one of the few people in the group. Simply joined them. There were seven of us and we had a few different dishes here. Here they are:

Sedap Malam, Jakarta

We were in Jakarta at the end of May, surely we got plenty of time to eat here and there. Our first stop for lunch was a place called Sedap Malam.

There was four of us and we ordered quite a bit. We had nearly all types of seafood, fish, squid, crabs, prawns and of course, a plate of vegetable. Fried, grilled, sauteed and whatever. Coconut drink was a must too.  They may not be the best or well prepared but they were tasty, spicy and yummy.

Breakfast At Purnawarman Restaurant

Purnawarman Restaurant is located in Hilton Hotel Bandung, Indonesia. Earlier this month, I stayed for a couple of nights at the hotel and decided to try their buffet breakfast prior to checking out. It was relatively inexpensive Rp130,000 before tax, as they have quite a wide range of selection of food, including ice cream (!!) However, quality wise, it is just as good as the amount of money we pay. In short, it's not bad for that price! I managed to try quite a bit of their dishes. Including their Soto Ayam below. They also offered Coffee and Tea as well as fruit juices.

Nusa Dua Beach, Day 2

Nusa Dua Beach is very beautiful. On a sunny day when the sky is clear, the beach is even lovelier. We were fortunate to have been there when the sky was blue and the sun shone. These pictures are from our second day in St. Regis Resort, Bali.

Breakfast At Boneka, St. Regis Bali

It was a buffet breakfast with a nice spread and more that we could order from their menu, including steak and lobster (for breakfast!), various smoothies and drinks. The service from the staff was excellent and we had pleasant time enjoying our breakfast. I wish I had a bigger stomach capacity so that I could have tried more food there.
