Kra Pow, Singapore

We found a new place to satisfy our cravings for Thai food. It's an inexpensive place tucked inside Far East Plaza, called Kra Pow. They certainly have delicious food.

Here are some dishes we had on one visit.

Crispy Thai Wings

Massamam Curry

 Pork Fried Rice

 Spring Rolls

Drunkard Noodle Pork

Red Ruby Dessert

One fine day sometime ago, a bunch of us had dim sum lunch at Canton Paradise in Marina Bay Shoppe. The food were all good and we were very pleased with what we ordered.

Lunch at Lokkee

We had lunch with these loved ones and family members. 😉 We enjoyed the food although we did not particularly like where we were seated. The fried rice with crab meat was particularly delicious.

Tazumura Tonkatsu Daimaru, Osaka

For dinner, we picked a place from the restaurants in Daimaru Umeda's 14th floor gourmet dining section. We are staying near Osaka Station and we did not really want to go far. Prior to flying Osaka, we had two trips to Malaysia within the same week and we were exhausted.

We decided to start with Tonkatsu, we had confidence that they would be prepared well in the restaurant that we picked. Both dishes turned out to be so juicy, tender and delicious.

Ichiran, Osaka - First Meal

Saturday morning, we arrived at Kansai Airport earlier this month.  By the time we got to the hotel and  settled everything,  we were hungry. It was not quite lunch time yet but it was late for breakfast. We walked around to get to this particular pancake place, but the GPS led us to all over the place. We, somehow, stumbled upon Ichiran and decided to have their ramen. With a little over 1,000 yen per bowl, we were very pleased. Our food adventure just began.

Anzu, Japan Food Town, Singapore

This is one of the restaurants that we love to go back to again and again. The quality of food and service have been consistently great and this is simply what we look for. We tend to order the same thing, DH with his prawn and pork cutlets and my order is pork fillet katsu. We love having it with their superb brown rice.

Ichiran, Kowloon

Back when I was in Kowloon, I found out that Ichiran Ramen has a shop just within minutes from where we stayed. So exciting. Just. Have. to. Eat. There.

Four Seasons, London

In between "we should try other place" and "we need to have a bit", we ended up at Four Seasons restaurant in Chinatown London. Again. We tried a different branch nearby in Chinatown if that counts at all as a different restaurant that we tried. We had a platter of soy chicken, barbecue pork and roast pork and a bowl of wanton soup and a bowl of rice. Perfect for cold January night. So good.

Anzu At Japan Food Town, Singapore

A while back, we took an evening walk along Orchard rd without planning to have dinner but somehow, of course, we got hungry, because we had not had dinner yet. We ventured to the newly opened Japan Food Town in Wisma Atria and reached a mutual decision to try tonkatsu at Anzu, Ginza. We got a table on the spot, it was not crowded.

I had Gin-Jo Pork Fillet Katsu Set and DH had Fried Shrimp Katsu Set. All were superb and the service was great too. It is definitely a place that we can go back again.

Tonkatsu Tazumura Lunch, Sapporo

This restaurant is located on the 8th floor of Daimaru, Sapporo, where a lot of restaurants are located. I drafted this post last year and decided to publish it, because we have grown to love tonkatsu so much. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and I would love to revisit the place when I go to Sapporo again.

Garibaldi Brunch

This was from last month when we managed to have four family members in the country and had the time to have a Sunday brunch together.

Garibaldi was someone's pick and I just followed along. It was like a feast, or it was really a feast. There was so much food and they were mostly enjoyable. The meal ended with a tray of desserts.
