Brownie Cookies

I made some brownie cookies a while ago using Donna Hay's recipe. These are so light and delicious. 

Cookie Brownie Bars

I woke up from a short nap on Saturday and suddenly felt the urge to make brownies. It had been a long while and I did long for my brownies, I did not know why. I went to Miss K's room to express my desire and she suggested that I make Cookie Brownie Bars from the mix box that we got last Spring in the USA, the Betty Crockers one. Why not! That's even easier and very devilish! Just what I needed.

This wicked dessert is a combination of cookie and brownies and a tad too sweet for my taste but these bars are super yummy and I can simply forgive the sweetness. I will gain a couple of pounds for sure if I do not restraint myself from eating too much.... 

Brownies!

I was waiting for DH to come back from getting our lunch outside and I was very hungry. I made myself productive by baking brownies using Matt Lewis recipe using 8"x8"baking pan. I have Baker's Edge Pan Brownie Pan that I have been longing to use, but still can't use, because I did not want to make too much brownies. That pan (13"x9") will require me to double the recipe. It's way too much for three people that are currently staying at home, one of whom barely eats brownies. Hhhh......

Bake Sale Brownies

Music does great things for life. When I am happy, I am down, when I am sad or when I am angry, ... pick an inspirational song or two and play them. Enjoy the tune, feel the words and find peace and serenity in there..... Find the silver lining, life is still good, life that I have is better and I can't help but praise the Creator above.

It's bake sale, it's brownies for bake sale to raise funds for recent typhoon victims in Taiwan. Despite an extremely busy day yesterday, one had to be baked for that. Of course, we wanted some too. Another one was bake, this time, with more chips and mini marshmallows.

Just Brownies

It's nice being back home again no matter much fun we have during our vacation. It's wonderful to go back to the kitchen and cook again. To kick things off, we made brownies for dessert.

Out Of Guilt, and Love Too

No, I didn't head to the kitchen and started baking brownies out of anger. It was guilt and love. Some mothers, when they feel guilty to their kids, they buy things for their kids. I, on the other hand, and some other mothers too, maybe, bake goodies for their kids. Let's not discuss why I felt guilty. I am guilty for being a human!

So here we go, extremely gooey-wicked-chocolatey brownies, so-so-so much more chocolatey than ever!!!! It's ocean of chocolate! Don't get me wrong, I didn't feel that much guilt, it happened that I still had lots of chocolate chips that I bought in New Zealand that I need to use up. Killing three birds with one stone indeed!
