Sourdough Galette With Blueberries and Peach

Time for galette. Now that I have my own sourdough starter, I made the crust using the sourdough as well. I love the flavor of the crust, it's different than the normal crust that I have. The filling is a mix of blueberries and sliced peaches and the two makes such a wonderful combination.

Apple Cinnamon Galette

I made pie crust sometime ago and used only one half of it for my Spinach galette. I stored the remaining in the fridge and I planned to make another galette.

One fine morning, I took two green apples and peeled them and sliced them, added a little bit of corn flour,  some brown sugar and cinnamon to make the filling.  And I baked this beautiful apple cinnamon galette....

Lunch At PS Cafe, Paragon

Miss K and I finally made it to PS cafe after talking about it so many times. This was way back in the Summer. I met her after I finished my appointment and shared a vegetarian sandwich and a bowl of mushroom room, which we did not really like. We also had a slice of pecan pie with a scoop of ice cream for dessert.

Salmon Phyllo Pie

We had some salmon and nearly full pack of phyllo that I wanted to clear. Instead of making individual phyllo wrap with salmon, I adapted a recipe from Jamie Oliver, the phyllo pie was easier to make, it was messier as required and it took less time to put together. The result was tempting-looking and delicious.
