Bene, Sand Cotai Central, Macau

My partner in crime wanted to have Italian for lunch, so we found one in the neighborhood where we were. The concierge of the mall actually directed us to the only Italian tratorria nearby.

We ordered calamari for starter, pear salad and spaghetti carbonara that was outrageously super creamy. I love that crispy bread so much that I munched a lot of them while waiting for the food. I think, aside from the crispy bread, I only appreciate the salad.

Agnes B Cafe, Harbour City, Kowloon

We traveled to Hong Kong last week and one afternoon in my "me time", I opted to have a bowl of grilled vegetable salad, a cup of coffee and a piece of mont blanc named Valerie in Agnes B cafe in Kowloon. The salad was cold from, I believe refrigeration, while the vegetables were not as fresh as I like them to be. I was just glad to have chance to have some healthier food, because it can be hard at times when I travel.

Back To Aoki, Lunch

This time the three of us went to Aoki for lunch. We ordered one Omakase lunch and two ala carte dishes plus an extra eggplant dish. We love the sushi and others but can't say the same about the eggplant.

Anzu At Japan Food Town, Singapore

A while back, we took an evening walk along Orchard rd without planning to have dinner but somehow, of course, we got hungry, because we had not had dinner yet. We ventured to the newly opened Japan Food Town in Wisma Atria and reached a mutual decision to try tonkatsu at Anzu, Ginza. We got a table on the spot, it was not crowded.

I had Gin-Jo Pork Fillet Katsu Set and DH had Fried Shrimp Katsu Set. All were superb and the service was great too. It is definitely a place that we can go back again.

Tonkatsu Tazumura Lunch, Sapporo

This restaurant is located on the 8th floor of Daimaru, Sapporo, where a lot of restaurants are located. I drafted this post last year and decided to publish it, because we have grown to love tonkatsu so much. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and I would love to revisit the place when I go to Sapporo again.

Brotzeit, Vivocity Lunch

I had not been to Brotzeit for quite a long time and somehow one of the three of us decided that we could have lunch there. So, here we were. Unfortunately, I found the food including salad, a tad too greasy to my liking.

Feast At CJ Palace, Ngee Ann City

This was from earlier last month. It's new year, and we were having lots of companies. We introduced them to the popular Chinese New Year Salad. Lots of people, lots of food, lots of calories and lots of cholesterol.  We even had Beijing duck (no picture) The food and the company, however, were enjoyable. We had a nice evening, but we definitely need to choose healthier dishes.

Il Lumino, Macau

We were in Macau for a short getaway, this was back last month and was almost forgotten, because life has been so hectic. DH had booked a table for dinner in a new Italian restaurant in Studio City.

We started with their Fritto Misto and followed by our entrees Squid Ink pasta and Pan Seared Salmon. We also tried their pizza simply because we wanted to try. The crust was thin and cheese was too much and too overwhelming.
