We normally go to a different stall when we go to Newton Circus to fix our stingray craving. We thought of trying a new place i.e. Seafood 27 and we both like the food. In our first visit, we had a plate of vegetables with Stingray with sambal and grilled prawn.

Scala's Bistro Dinner, San Francisco
Back to Scala's Bistro for dinner again. We have been here many times, probably each time we come to San Francisco. Sometimes, it's not my choice to come, but when you go with others, you just have to follow the rests. It is a rather dark place and it is challenging to take pictures. My Leica did quite a good job with taking pictures with very minimal lighting.
We had Fritto Misto to start with.
A pizza was ordered by Miss K, but we participated a little bit.
Who else, but DH, orders Seafood pasta,
My order was Ricotta Gnocchi, served with roasted forest mushroom, asparagus, parmesan brood and fine herbs.

Soleil, Mulia Hotel - Lunch
We went to Bali earlier this month to attend a wedding, primarily. Of course, we also want to enjoy the beautiful scene over there and had a relaxing time as well.
We were greeted with rain, heavy rain and a buggy by the hotel took us to this restaurant, which is located in the hotel compound too.
Our amuse bouche was fried Zucchini flowers, with cheese filling and aioli sauce. It was a great way to start indeed! My main was Panisse ala Mediteranee, Riviera style pea bread with shared fennel and herb salad. DH had seafood pasta and we also shared a bowl of salad.

Sedap Malam, Jakarta
We were in Jakarta at the end of May, surely we got plenty of time to eat here and there. Our first stop for lunch was a place called Sedap Malam.
There was four of us and we ordered quite a bit. We had nearly all types of seafood, fish, squid, crabs, prawns and of course, a plate of vegetable. Fried, grilled, sauteed and whatever. Coconut drink was a must too. They may not be the best or well prepared but they were tasty, spicy and yummy.

Il Pesce, Chicago
It was our last afternoon in Chicago and we revisited Eataly. There are many restaurants there and we picked Il Pesce this time. We had not had salad for a while so we decided to get Three-Color Salad (Insalate Tricolore - Radicchio, Endive and Arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette).
We also had the above, Fritto Misto (fried seafood) and below, Salmone Sotto Sale (house-cured salmon with spring vegetables).
For dessert, we shared Tiramisu (again).

Lunch At Scala's
Scala's Bistro on Powell St. is rather an easy pick for DH to have a meal. I no longer am too excited about the place but felt a bit indifferent. We were in San Francisco, we stayed in a nearby hotel and the restaurant was just a block away. Why not? I could not think of any other place to go at that moment.
DH went for Linguini with clams and I picked Cobb Salad. Big portion for me. We ended the meal with a cup of Cappuccino.

L'Angolo di casa, Milan
We had dinner at this place upon the recommendation of our hotel's Concierge. It's located within minutes on foot from where we stayed and it was good, because we were still exhausted from the traveling time and jetlag. The food they serve didn't make good-looking pictures but they tasted great. The staff there were also accommodating to my company's special requests.
We had Fritto Misto as starter. They were a little bit oily but the seafood was so good!
I had Milanese Risotto with Osso Buco. Delish! I enjoyed every bit of it.
DH's tonight's order was his usual Seafood Pasta. I believe it tasted great too.

Lunch At Gran Diva Caffe, Sapporo
Back when we were in Sapporo, the two people that I went with let me choose the place for lunch after seeing the places they wanted to have lunch in, in the area, were full and had long lines outside their premises. I picked an Italian restaurant, which would not be my priority, but it's a place that the other two would eat. Both of them like Italian cuisines.
DH, consistently, picked Seafood pasta (wherever he goes, almost!). The dish looked attractive and was generous with the amount of the seafood and more importantly tasted good.

I had Gnocchi Salad (above) which was just okay and had the others tried some as well. Miss K had Penne with Mushroom and we also shared Pizza Margherita. Not bad!

Dinner At Kayu Puti, St. Regis Bali
DH and I had dinner at one of the restaurants at our hotel, St. Regis Bali. We had their Cold and Hot Signature Dishes. The amuse bouche served to us was foie grass and it was excellent. Five types of bread for each of us with a few different dips were superb too.
