We normally go to a different stall when we go to Newton Circus to fix our stingray craving. We thought of trying a new place i.e. Seafood 27 and we both like the food. In our first visit, we had a plate of vegetables with Stingray with sambal and grilled prawn.

Imperial Yi Dian Xin, Singapore
I read the menu and I saw the pictures, I really had to order and taste these Porcupine Buns. I know they are deep fried, but my curiosity beat every other considerations possible. We did not order much, it was a light lunch.

This is one of the restaurants that we love to go back to again and again. The quality of food and service have been consistently great and this is simply what we look for. We tend to order the same thing, DH with his prawn and pork cutlets and my order is pork fillet katsu. We love having it with their superb brown rice.

Le Pain Quotidien, Wan Chai
It was our last day in Hong Kong and we found place to have proper breakfast that I had been missing.
We had Coconut Berry Muesli and Fritata of the day. The staff that waited on us did not know what it was that she had to go in and find out. Later on, I also found another staff that also had no clue of the flavor of the Fritata of the day. I guess, they don't get any briefing before the cafe was open or they did, but they di not pay attention. Or simply it was not mentioned. I definitely will respect the place better if the employees have the knowledge of this sort of things. Anyway, Fritata of the day was spinach and feta.
We also had coffee and green juice (no picture).

Kaetsu, Hong Kong
This is one of the few places that we love to go to for a great Japanese food when we are in Hong Kong. We could not get a reservation for dinner, because it was a last minute thing for us, yes, typical. However, as we walked back from our dinner, we passed by and asked if they had two seats for us, which they did. We had a light dinner earlier and we were happy to have some sashimi and sushi.

Gelato Rose, Givres, Wan Chai
We arrived back in Hongkong from Macau in the afternoon. We took along nearby area and tried to figure out what we wanted to have for dinner. We found this precious gem as we strolled along. It was unexpected and it was very close to dinner time, but we wanted to try anyway. We shared a two flavour gelato rose, Espresso and Pistachio.

Bene, Sand Cotai Central, Macau
My partner in crime wanted to have Italian for lunch, so we found one in the neighborhood where we were. The concierge of the mall actually directed us to the only Italian tratorria nearby.
We ordered calamari for starter, pear salad and spaghetti carbonara that was outrageously super creamy. I love that crispy bread so much that I munched a lot of them while waiting for the food. I think, aside from the crispy bread, I only appreciate the salad.

Le Chine, Macau
Le Chine is located on 6th floor of the Eiffel tower. We just felt compelled to try, it is the only restaurant in the tower and we just had to experience dining there. They offered French - Chinese fusion dishes. The service was good, some of the food were great, but a couple were not really, including the noodles with lobster down below. .
Starting the evening with a drink called French Kiss. The restaurant brought us amuse bouche, which unfortunately I can't remember, but it can be seen down below after the drink.It was not explained by the server and when asked, it was still not clear what it was. they were quite nice and cold, it's some sort of sherbet.

Complimentary matcha cupcakes. (that's my guess of what they were, the serves did not and could not explain what they were)
Pineapple tart tatin with coconut ice cream. Definitely needs more ice cream, a lot more than presented. The balance of the flavor was of because of that.

Ichiran, Kowloon
Back when I was in Kowloon, I found out that Ichiran Ramen has a shop just within minutes from where we stayed. So exciting. Just. Have. to. Eat. There.
