Haze

Woke up this Saturday morning, feeling so tired. My body ached from the body massage that I had last night. The girl was eager and her English is worse than my Mandarin, it was a challenge to communicate with her.

With the wonder of the Internet, I found out that the haze had not gone away, PSI level indicated an unhealthy level. I could see bright, but grey sky from the windows of my room. Depressing. All around was great and visibility was limited.  All I imagined was coffee. Hot coffee. I wish someone could bring over a cup of coffee for me. It was one of those days when getting up was hard to do. The day had to start somehow. My weekend just began.

Clearing Up

Although it maybe temporary, I am glad that the haze has been clearing up. I can see the buildings again and I feel better again that going out is no longer too bad for health.

Haze Hovers ..

The haze in Singapore was so bad that the PSI reading reached 401 at noon today. We practically could not see the buildings around ours. All looked dirty white and I could smell the smoke outside. Thankfully, things improved in the day.

All White!

Haze has been covering the tiny island where we are living, visibility is nearly zero from our place. We are not able to see the Marina Bay Sands that normally standing pretty far across from where we are. The haze is again courtesy of fires on Indonesian island, Sumatra. It's all white as far as we can see.

O Hazy Day!

I woke up to a cool morning after some rain during the night or maybe early morning, which was a nice change after having many hot and humid days, besides the haze that the country was experiencing. The newspaper reported that Singapore had the worst air pollution since 2006, thanks to the haze courtesy of Indonesia.

It's another hazy day too today. It's practically gray all around this afternoon.... Very gloomy and unhealthy! It is expected that we'll have this til Saturday. We'll see.
