Oatmeal Breakfast With Mixed Fruit

The possibilities are endless when in comes to how to eat oatmeal. I like to cook it plain, without sugar and eat it with fruit. This time, I had papaya cubes, mango, roasted coconut, almond, chia seeds and almond butter.

Lunch At Cracco Peck, Milano

Peck is one of the most recommended place to go to and to dine in when you go to Milan. It's located just near Duomo, but we had a hard time finding it because the GPS really messed us up.

We checked out their shop, carrying beautiful meats, goodies, cheeses and everything else that I wish I could buy and take them home with me. The restaurant is upstairs and their food is really superb. This was our first time having a meal there and we truly enjoyed every single bit of everything.

I had a dish called Piatto Unico Venerdi, which was basically mashed potatoes in the bottom of the plate with Cod fish. I can't remember exactly the description of how the fish was done. But it was really delicious.

 My company had Linguine al pesto above. As a side order for sharing, we had spinach.

We were really full but still attempted to  try their desserts and coffee too.  Fabulous!!

Dim Sum At Imperial Nan Bei

The three of us were hungry and we were heading to Imperial Nan Bei in Ngee Ann City for a dim sum lunch. We had quite a nice variety for the three of us. Imperial tend to have a reasonably nice dishes and we were quite pleased with everything we had there.

It has been more than a month ago since we visited the place but the memory of this gorgeous place still lingers on. The cruise on Lake Como took us to our destination, Bellagio. Bellagio is a city in Lombardy. Bellagio is located at the tip of the peninsula, separating Lake Como's two arms. It's a beautiful place to see and stay. I love th buildings there in particular. Apple Sauce

I had some apples that had been in my fridge for a long while and decided to use them to make apple sauce for my oatmeal. I used mostly green apples but also added one pear, just because I like it. :)

Lunch At Din Tai Fung


We had not had Xiao Long Bao from Din Tai Fung for a while and one of us, at least, craved for them, it was the right thing to do to pick Din Tai Fung to have lunch the other day.We didn't have too many dishes but irregardless, we were happy with what we had.

Mango Smoothie

Oatmeal With Pan-Seared Pear

I love my Oatmeal plain, i.e. without sugar. I'd like to have the sweetness from different fruit that I put. What I have here is a simple plain oatmeal that I topped with pan-seared pear and sliced strawberries. For extra textures, I added grated coconut, slivered almond and sesame seeds. These make yummy and healthy breakfast!!

Bernina Express

We took Bernina Express to St. Moritz in Switzerland from Tirano. The whole train ride took more than two hours as it stopped in many stations. No complain here, as the scenery is so stunning. It was such a beautiful ride that made everyone take picture again and again.
