Surviving....

That's Double Bloom Hibiscus that we have had for a while. The only plant we have continues to give us beautiful flowers. It survives diseases that came and went. It perseveres.

They're Back....

I hope there are always hopes for everybody and those that persevere. I know that there are so much sufferings around the world. The technology  has made it easier for anybody to help out, with one click you can donate to any chosen charity. We can donate to charity far away while sitting in front of the computer. It only takes willingness and a bit of your money and you help make the world a better place. I particularly like this Boys' Brigade Share A Gift for Christmas this year. It's so handy.

Talking about perseverance, this double Hibiscus is a one tough chick indeed. At some point, I really thought that I would lose this plant for good. I am glad I was wrong, it made an excellent comeback. The leaves have grown much more and greener than ever and the flowers have started blossoming. If you have a rough day, try to hang in there. I know it's hard, but just try, a little bit longer. Hang in there. Hope things turn out well soon. Cheers!

Still Living...

Many weeks ago, I moved the Hibiscus plant from my mother in law to a bigger container, I had all the intention in the world to give the plant a great and larger place to grow. Somewhere along the process, I might have damaged some of the roots. For many days and more, the plant looked like was going to go down. I was worried. But apparently it was a tough chick indeed, the new leaves grew and the flowers bloomed again. Horray!

Just About....

I am still loving my Hibiscus. At 7:31 AM, I managed to capture the picture of a Hibiscus about to bloom. By noon, when I checked back, the flower has opened up widely.... Nice!

Double Blooms

One of our new hibiscus flowers has bloomed and produced double blooms. There are two layers of petal and make it look like rose. It's always a thrill to see a new flower blossoming around. We should be having more in the coming days. Can't hardly wait. Mmmmm.....

More Hibiscus....

There are many flower buds on the Hibiscus plant that we bought the other day, we simply could not resist to get one. We love Hibiscus because they love sunshine and we got way too much of it in our terrace. I love the fact that the leaves barely drop, that means I don't get to do too pick leave picking.

People said that they are easy to take care of, but most of all, its flowers are big, gorgeous and this plant that we bought are going to bloom in no time. I guess, that makes it okay for us to buy again. I am now really tempted to get different colors. Maybe white? Or yellow?

Hibiscus

We got this Hibiscus from my mother in law, about a couple of months ago. It's a potted plant here in our place and delightfully, despite its small size, has produced many flower buds. One of them blossomed overnight as well. By noon, the flower stood grand very lovely.

Hibiscus is Malaysia's national flower, they call them Bunga Raya or Celebration Flower.
