Ichiban Boshi, GWC

Ichiban Boshi underwent some renovation and it was reopened earlier this month, we went there for lunch earlier before Miss K went away. I picked Crispy Chicken bento set which I found a bit too greasy.

We picked a plate of Inari that we always enjoy from the conveyor belt.  Miss K had her Sushi set that came with a bowl of clear soup.

We also shared a plate of Spicy  Squid and our pick for dessert was Peach Momo. The dessert was the best part of the whole experience.

Fruit Galettes

A while back before my trip to North America, I made three different types of galette using one pie crust recipe. One was blackberries, another was raspberries and the last one was mixed berries.

Lunch At Shunjuu, Robertson Quay

Shunjuu is a sumiyaki (charcoal grill) place located at the Robertson Quay. DH took me there one afternoon for a nice lunch. We tried many different grilled dishes like rice, chicken balls, etc and the fried Soft Shell crabs above. It's a place that I'd like to return to.

Sushi Goshin Lunch

It's another sushi lunch that I had with both DH and Miss K.  We simply ordered what we liked and did not put any efforts into trying the dishes that we never tried before like we occasionally attempt to. Happy bellies are happy us. :)

Microwave Potato Chips

This is certainly an alternative to store-bought chips that are healthier. With just a touch of oil and microwave magic plus a little time, we'll have these chips ready in some minutes. Patience, though, is needed.

Paris Baguette, After Lunch

It was Sunday after lunch, we went to Raffles Place to get some coffee and dessert. We had Cappuccino and shared a piece of Tiramisu. Both were great!

Another breakfast idea. Granola with yoghurt and some fruits on the side. Coffee too, of course.

Borough Market, London

Borough market is such a food heaven. It's always nice to go there, sample a few things and bought some that we want. There are sit down places to enjoy meals too. It is easy to take tube to get there and begin exploring, These are some of the pictures.

Cheese Gougères

Classic French cheese puffs. So good!! What else is there to say??
