Maison Kayser, Tokyo Midtown

I guess I miss Tokyo and I started looking at the pictures when we where there in June while sorting out my files in my new computer. Yes, with new computer, there are gazillion things to sort out and this practically take hours and days. I am not quite used to the new keyboard too, so I keep on hitting the wrong characters.

Back to Tokyo, I remember how we walked around Midtown Tokyo in the evening after dinner and sometimes if we still could make space in our stomach or planned to have them for breakfast, we got some pieces from Maison Kayser. Their croissant, breads, etc are so attractive. We wanted them, all of them.

Dinner At Ippudo, Tokyo

Ippudo Ramen is one of my favorite ramen in Tokyo (world, actually). We went there again when we were in Tokyo in June. The broth is super delicious. I just can't get enough.  I wish there's a ramen place nearby that has ramen soup as good as this. I am drooling while writing this post. Ahh...

Revisiting Tokyo Disneyland

It had been a while since we went to any Disneyland, we thought it would be a fun thing to do. We picked a day when we visited Tokyo in June, to go there. Rain or shine, we were determined to go. It did rained a bit, but it barely a bother. There was a big crowd lining up before the opening hours but we had seen worse. We left before dinner, because we wanted to have a better meal in the city to end our day.

Revisiting Nanbantei, Tokyo

We went back to have dinner at Nanbantei in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. I had their dinner set while my three companions chose ala carte.  There were more dishes, but no pictures.

Pizzeria Trattoria Napule, Tokyo Midtown

It was the evening after we spent the whole day in Tokyo Disneyland and we were ready for some Italian food in the neighborhood of our hotel. Tokyo Midtown, where this restaurant was located, was just near our hotel and we, honestly were tempted by the pictures of food they put up on their ads.

Just before writing this post, I read some reviews of the place in TripAdvisor. People have totally different views of the same waiter/manager, some hated him, some liked him. I found him accommodating to our requests as we did ask some changes from their original menu. There were many hate and love reviews about the venue and the food.  I guess, everything is always subjective. People's perception of certain things varied.

Anyway, the above was our starter, Fritto Misto with vegetables and below is pizza that we shared. I had mushroom risotto and the other two had pasta. We also tried two desserts, Tiramisu and Cannoli. There was a cover charge of 2,000 yeah for the four of us.
