Breakfast Crepes

I make crepes all the time, they are quite easy to prepare and do not need that many ingredients but egg, milk, salt and flour. That's all. You could add a bit of sugar in some instances, but I normally do not. You could have them for dessert, but I love to have them for breakfast too. I am a believer of breakfast being the most important meal of the day. I've gotta have something that please both my stomach and my heart too.

Pan seared bananas are easily a favorite of mine too and I love having them for breakfast as well. I had some maple syrup with my crepes too.

Steel-Cut Oat Breakfast

This is one of my favorite breakfasts, particularly with the presence of pomegranate, caramelized banana and other fruits.

Back To Oats

A week into 2016, I wanted to have oats for breakfast. This was steel cut oats, cooked with milk and water, topped with blackberries, strawberries, dried figs, cubed mangoes and granola and lastly, a dollop of peanut butter, which made everything in the bowl, a lot better.......

Coconut Chia Pudding

My breakfast this morning was prepared last night. Easy and delicious, this was put together and kept in the fridge overnight, stirred a couple of times. In the morning, I took it out from the fridge and put whatever I want. Breakfast was ready, just like that.

I used coconut milk instead of almond milk that I normally mix in. It is creamy and tasty.

Ladurée, Ginza - Afternoon Tea

We were in Ginza after having lunch in Shibuya. Upon taking some afternoon walk, it's time for our coffee or tea or in this case Cappuccino. This is what we do when we get away.  Breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. With more things in between.

We were in Ladurée, a macaron and sweet goodness heaven. It deemed fitting to order a couple of gorgeous looking desserts to accompany our drinks too.

Popover Breakfast

I like to make my popovers with cheese on top and have them for breakfast. With fruit as well. It takes a little time to bake popovers, but these babies and fruit make a yummy breakfast combination. Have a cup of coffee or tea on the side, it's more enjoyable.

A healthy homemade breakfast I made sometime ago. Strawberry flavored Chia pudding with more strawberries and some sprinkles of grated coconut on top.

Oatmeal With Mixed Fruits

It's the same old oatmeal with different toppings. I had sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries and granola and sprinkled them with almond, sesame seeds, cocoa nibs and cinnamon powder.

Overnight Oatmeal With Berries

I am becoming a fan of overnight Oatmeal, it is easy to prepare the night before and it is quicker to get the breakfast ready in the morning. This one is an overnight oatmeal that was mixed with applesauce, topped with homemade blueberry sauce. On top, I sprinkled some granola and sliced almond, fresh bluberries and cut up strawberries. Fresh and healthy breakfast was ready!!
