I only started eating Clif bars recently, when jet lag, after traveling
thousand miles away to San Francisco, affected my hungry times. I woke
up in the middle of the night and having a Clif bar helped me. Now back
at home, I made an attempt to make something similar to that. I used toasted
oatmeal, dates, dried cranberries, peanut butter, honey and a pinch of salt. No baking was needed and these are yummy.

Ramen Lunch At Shoryu, Carnaby
We were walking along Carnaby Street looking for some shoes and we saw this ramen place, Shoryu. I was a bit hesitant because it was Friday and I do not eat meat. But DH wanted it and I was outnumbered, besides I could have a vegetarian option there. Which I did. My companies seemed to enjoy what they had and I thought mine would have been better if it is meat base. We also ordered Gyoza and Soft Shell crabs to share. Not bad for London!

Banana And Peanut Butter Galette
I like making galettes. This is a wholewheat galette with a peanut butter on the base, topped it with sliced bananas and blueberries and sprinkled it with brown sugar. It's a great snack or breakfast, whichever you want.

The Cafe, Hotel Cafe Royal
We passed by this Cafe on Regent street very often. I always wanted to try and the time was finally right on our last day in London. After having lunch in China town, we walked back and decided to have coffee and a little dessert to share. DH had a cup of black coffee and I chose to have their Signature drink called Yin and Yang. It is a mix of white chocolate and Guanaja 70% chocolate. To share, DH selected a small Union cake above.

Ping Pong, South Bank
It was the move-in day for Miss P and we planned to have dim sum at the nearest Ping Pong there. After checking out the Millemnium Bridge nearby and walking through Boroug Market, which was closed, because it was Sunday, we walked to the nearest Ping Pong. By nearest, it took us around 30 minutes to get there. We did make a few stops to take pictures here and there.
It's our first time at Ping Pong, so we ordered our usual items like Char Siu bao, spring rolls and Ha kau. We also ordered a pot of rice with chicken and mushroom that sounded good, and it tasted good too. For me, it's a place that i like to return to.

Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant, London
Okay, by now, we feel that going to London is not complete without having a meal at Four Season Chinese Restaurant.
Their famous item is roast duck, but I do not really care about duck and I do
not wish to increase my cholesterol level by eating something that I do
not even care of. DH loves duck, but he was unwilling to eat the ducks all by himself. We ended up with a plate of roast pork (with crackling skin, yum!), barbecue pork (delish!) and soya chicken (yum!).
We wanted to have more green vegetables and ordered Braised Beancurd in Oyster Sauce. It turned out that it had more beancurd than the greens we wanted. Oh, well.
We also had a small bowl of prawn dumplings, there were four pieces of them and they were just fine for us. Til next time!

A healthy homemade breakfast I made sometime ago. Strawberry flavored Chia pudding with more strawberries and some sprinkles of grated coconut on top.

Breakfast on The Plane
We took a morning flight to London last week and the first meal we got was, of course, breakfast. I normally have a small breakfast on the ground, just in case there's a delay in the flying time or whatever that could cause delay in meal time. By the time we got our meal, it was nearly 11 O'Clock. So glad that I ate before boarding.
Breakfast started with a plate of fruit and followed by a cup of delicious yoghurt, after declining offer for Cereal.
My breakfast choice was Corn cakes with poached eggs and chicken sausage. The corn cake was made with corn kernels, which I thought was really interesting and quite yummy. I tasted a little bit of egg and some chicken sausage. I had enough. It was quite a big meal and earlier I had eaten already as I mentioned.
Wholewheat Scones
I tried to make healthier scones using wholewheat flour and coconut oil. They were delicious. I had them with fresh strawberries and mangoes.
