We have said that the first box of mooncakes that we got were not that great and DH has been suggesting all along that we should get one ourselves. The one that we really like. The rests of us, however, wanted to wait, in case we get more and we do not want them to go wasted.
It was Sunday evening, nobody expected the door bell to ring, but the bell did ring. We got another box with four pieces of mooncake inside, filled with the classic white lotus paste and two yolks each. The box looks really nice, it would be something that I'd like to keep.
The taste? It is just alright for me, it does not leave too great impression and fails to make me want more. Good for me!
